Our Principal

Hello, North Star Family!

My name is Tim Garcia, and I am honored to serve as the principal of North Star Elementary School! A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, former police officer and chief of police, former high school basketball and football coach, and former elementary school health and physical education teacher, I am entering my 22nd year in public education and my 15th year as an elementary school principal.

To say that I am excited about the opportunity to continue leading North Star Elementary School is an understatement. I have no doubt that we are going to accomplish great things together!

As a person, I am called to love, care for, serve, support, value, and protect others, with a special emphasis on children and those who are vulnerable. At North Star Elementary School, we will follow the North Star Way by being Safe, Respectful, Responsible, and Operating with Integrity in ALL that we do.

We have high expectations and consistent accountability, while providing every member of our North Star family with the support and opportunities they need to be successful.

Make Today Amazing!
