Bear Den Meeting - December 9, 2025

Join us for our Bear Den meeting! Bear Den is an opportunity for parents and community members to have a voice in the continuous school improvement process. This team of volunteers meets with one or more teacher representatives and the building principal or designee at least four times per year to review school data, discuss the school improvement plan, provide recommendations about spending priorities and promote parent and community engagement.  Members of the team learn about the important work of the school and offer insight and feedback.

Attendance Matters

Friendly Attendance Reminders: 

• Students automatically receive 5 excused absences per semester. Once they have reached their five, all full and partial day absences will be marked as Unexcused unless a doctor's note (or note from other qualified personnel) is provided. If you send a note in your child's backpack, please let us know so we can grab it! 

• If your child will be absent, please leave a message on the Attendance Line at 720-972-5578, or if you would like to speak with a staff member, you can call the Main Office at 720-972-5560. 

If you have any questions or if you would like to check your child's year-to-date attendance, feel free to give us a call. You can also see their attendance history in the Adams 12 Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

Enrollment Updates

2026–2027 Enrollment Information
All Families: Please Update Your Address
If your family has moved, please give the office your current address. Returned mail removes your address from the system, and your student’s enrollment will not automatically renew.
Please notify us anytime your address changes.

1. Current K–5 Students

• If you have not moved, enrollment will roll over automatically.
• If you have moved:
   
  • Update your address with the office.
  • If your new address is out of boundary (you can verify with the district School Finder), submit an Adams 12 Schools of Choice Program.

Choice Application opens December 1; notifications are sent in February.

2. Preschool Students Returning for Kindergarten

• Contact the office to confirm your plans.
• If your address is out of boundary: Submit a Schools of Choice Application (opens December 1).

3. Preschool Students Returning for a Second Year of Preschool

Returning preschoolers must:

1. Submit an application to the Adams 12 Schools of Choice Program  (opens December 1)
2. Submit a Universal Preschool Application on the Colorado Universal Preschool Website
