MISC. UPDATES

Warm Weather Clothing Reminder

As the weather begins to warm up, this is a friendly reminder that students should come to school dressed appropriately. Clothing must cover all private areas and be suitable for a school setting.

Your support helps us maintain a positive learning environment where the focus remains on learning. Thank you for partnering with us to ensure students are dressed for success at school.

Lost & Found

Our Lost and Found is overflowing! Please stop by to see if your child may have left any items behind. With winter in full swing, we have many coats, gloves, and hats waiting to be claimed.

Bear Den Meeting - March 16, 2026 from 3:20-4:20pm

Join us for our Bear Den meeting! Bear Den is an opportunity for parents and community members to have a voice in the continuous school improvement process. This team of volunteers meets with one or more teacher representatives and the building principal or designee at least four times per year to review school data, discuss the school improvement plan, provide recommendations about spending priorities and promote parent and community engagement.  Members of the team learn about the important work of the school and offer insight and feedback.

Family Engagement Night

Join us on March 31st from 4:00–6:00 PM as we celebrate our families and their participation in the Parent Panorama Survey! Thanks to your support, we reached 22.26% participation, surpassing our goal of 20%. To celebrate, we will be hosting a Chick-fil-A night at school. 🎉

During this time, we will also share information about CMAS testing, which begins in April for our intermediate grade students. Families will have the opportunity to ask questions, learn more about the testing process, and hear how we support students during this time.

RSVP information will be sent out soon. We hope to see you there!

Attendance Matters

Address Updates for the Upcoming School Year

Have you moved recently or are planning to move? Please contact the school office to update your address and contact information. Keeping your information current is necessary to maintain your student’s active enrollment for the next school year. If your new home is outside our school boundaries, your student may still be able to stay through the School Choice application process. Our office is happy to answer questions and guide you through the process.

Feeling Sick?

We know many kids have been under the weather lately! To keep everyone healthy and support consistent attendance, please follow our district guidelines: keep your child home if they have a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or other contagious symptoms. Mild coughs or sore throats alone don’t always require staying home—please check the full guidance here: Adams 12 Sick Policy.

Thank you for helping us keep our students healthy and in school! 💙
