Dear North Star Parents,
As we begin the 12th week of school, it feels more like we have gone through 3 years in one. We started remote in August. We then transitioned to remote and in-person with learning pods in September and are now doing both remote and in-person. These transitions have been challenging but our primary goal at North Star has always been to focus on our students and meeting their social emotional and learning needs.
With the increase in the use of technology both remotely and in person, everyone has faced technological challenges. Thank you for your patience as we have worked through some glitches. If your family is still struggling to provide consistent WIFI to your student, please reach out to Margarita Ordonez, our community liaison, at 720-972-5576 to see about the possibility of obtaining a Hotspot device.
For families who have opted for in-person learning, please be mindful that due to the possibility of temporary classroom quarantines or a district-wide decision to go remote, your family needs to have a backup plan. This transition could happen quickly.
I want to thank all our North Star families for persevering with us during this challenging year.
